Casa Hogar CBV
Together is Better
The first year of our official operations in 2021, the Lord connected us to Elizabeth Pecknold who was very involved supporting Casa Hogar Cañon Buena Vista in the town just south of Ensenada locally known as “El Zorrillo.” After decades of living in Ensenada, Elizabeth and her husband were making plans to move back to North Dakota. Elizabeth was so burdened about how this place would survive. We found out this home was all-girls from ages 5-18+ and were astonished at how it aligned with our mission to help vulnerable young women in Baja. Of course we wanted to do what we could!
We are so honored to have been introduced to Soledad and Eliseo- the directors of this home for 30 years now! We stock their pantry and fridge on a monthly basis. We love visiting, doing special cookouts, helping with their school supplies, and getting to share many donations that come our way. As you can imagine, there are always many needs to care for this many precious souls. We are incredibly grateful for their work and would love to ask for your prayers for this beautiful ministry!
